A Golden Place
I'm at this place.
Its new to me.
But for some reason, I feel so at home.
Like I've been here before.
Like I've loved here before.
Like I grew up here and found my first girlfriend here.
This place reminds me of her.
Not my first girlfriend, but my last girlfriend
The first one I truly loved.
It reminds me of the color in her hair,
The smell of her house,
The art on her walls,
The love in her heart.
It reminds me of the weird things about her that made me fold for her charm more than anything.
It reminds me of the light in her soul coming in bright colors and unique designs
It reminds me of the place she grew up and the school she went to.
It reminds me of the complexities of her personality. So strange and beautiful, yet so uniquely hers.
This place reminds me of the hugs she would give me and the sound of her stunning voice in my ears.
It reminds me of her artsy side and her creative side, the side I love.
It feels like someone great up here. It feels like she grew up here.
It feels like I'm seeing every peice of art, every portrait, every messed up page and project, she made while she grew up.
I miss seeing that side of her.
I miss seeing any side of her
I miss her complexities.
I miss the nostalgia that this place gives me.
The nostalgia of the feelings she gave me.
