A Golden Song
The music I've been listening to has been interesting recently.
It's been sorrowful and yet gorgeous.
The way the trumpets scratch makes me shiver.
The way the voices move me even when it is just a sinple melody
The way the notes overlap and the vocal cords of the singers tie into a figure eight as they somehow vibrate a sound of "the perfect evening".
They make me reminisce about the the people I've lost and the places I've been.
And yet, it makes me want to live my life, to hear the music of the people I'm yet to meet.
The emotions I get from this music is to cumbersome to describe in simple words, to only be found complexity in the infinite hues of the sky.
The heartbeat of a sumo wrestler makes sweet and painful jazz in a hue of indigo, the kind you would find on a Navy general's jacket.
The powerfull garnet hue of the a lover once loved and the tears they cried, making, not a blue, but a rose bath beneath them with every peice of their heart spilling out.
The stress and unconditional love of a new father coming off in the golden hue of a sunset and the greens only found in a mystical forest.
It's shallow to believe the most powerful form of art is so flatly put upon a page, especially when that peice is being made with melodies that inspire every stoke.
Music can create craters in one's soul, but it also builds cities over every pothole.
It's powerfull and yet entrancing
And still
so far beyond,
Just
A simple playlist.
