A letter, Nastenka
My beloved Nastenka,
This will be my last letter
How are you? I hope better
Belated Merry Christmas dear,
And advance Happy New Year
Me? I felt warm this winter
A fair lady gave me a sweater
She's nice, she loves my flaws,
She loves God as you do,
She lights up my winter's woe
I love her, I will love her
More decisive than ever
I'll adore her 'till my last day
For she made me feel seen
And made me more certain,
Removing my doubts & fears
Making my thoughts clear
How about you?
How's your winter this year?
Please stay warm and cozy
Please take care of yourself
It's a pity
We never made it at the end
But I'm still glad meeting you
And I really hope you also do
As we end things between us
I hope I could still be a friend
No–awkward kind of friend
Like us from the past
In the next time we will meet
I'll smile and give you a greet
Like a new start of a chapter
Moving on from the last
I hope you goodluck
Through life and endeavours
Our path might have strayed
But I'll still hope you the best
A letter, for you Nastenka
Wishing you luck,
Kafka
