Hydrangea

I may not
Be able to send
A bouquet of hydrangeas
But I'm willing to bend
My back, just to tend
A neat garden of it

It might be too late
Futile even,
But I'll tend this garden
Like a piece of you
Like a piece of heaven

So when it rains
And the sky darkens
The flowers will give hue
Like how heavens sent you
In this world of monochromatic
Giving tincture, like magic

But flowers tends to wither
So does the gardens in winter
I can't keep you
But I'll keep trying
Planting, in every mid-spring
Tending, in every season

So I'll keep trying
To keep these shrubs from dying
So when it blooms
I hope there's still room
A space for you to place
A vase beside your window
For a bouquet of Blue Billow
For you, my beloved ******
A bouquet of Hydrangea Serrata
