I hope that love finds me at my best:
My hair done and not a mess;
My eyes clear and not teary;
My smile real and not rehearsed;
My soul light and not heavy.

I hope that when love finds me, I'm at my best.
But I do also hope that if love meets me in my worst,
It is patient enough to wait as I collect the pieces
I did not notice I had dropped,
I never realized I had lost.
