window seat
your hair
waving,
riding the wind
your eyes
hazel iris,
staring,
through the blinding lights
seated,
in the window seat
open window
and rapid beat
of ensnared heart
and I can't breathe
I am trapped
mesmerized, a trance
I cannot move
rather, I should not move
so instead, to displace
to avert one's gaze
but I couldn't
rather, I wouldn't
for you, are heavenly
for my mortal eyes to see
I can't move
and will not move
for it is blasphemy
all I ask
is nothing much
but just a glimpse
that's all plenty
for me, a mortal
to witness pure divinity
so I keep gazing
heart racing
a thousand beat
to gaze at you
at the window seat
